Masterson’s Pub , situated in the center of Moonee Ponds , advertises itself as a stylish, alternative venue , but my most recent experience at this establishment quickly devolved into an unforgettable, terrible experience. While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I discovered behind its walls was appalling and beyond comprehension .

The floors were sticky , and a pungent odor of old alcohol and neglected washrooms filled the entire establishment . Emitting a scent of a mixture of urine , decay and illness . The toilet was in even worse condition — spilling over , with a shattered handle and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was feces.
